Growing equine veterinary practice needs creative logo!

This is an equine veterinary practice. I have clients in all disciplines, so a horse that is jumping or barrel racing won't work. A "leg up" is a method that is used to help a rider mount a horse, much like you see at the racetrack when they say, "riders up". I think it will be very difficult to incorporate into a logo, but if you can think of how to do it, that would be great. I don't want it too complicated, however. I am looking for something creative. I don't want a clipart horse next to or on top of the name of my practice in a fancy font. I would like the horse to somehow be incorporated into the words somehow. It also doesn't have to be the whole horse. A leg may work, or just a head, or even a veterinary caduceus. I am open to something creative and unique, but sophisticated and professional. I am really open to any color scheme, but blue is my favorite color.

This is a logo that I would like to put on shirts, so I am looking for something simple, yet effective. Easier said than done with a name like "leg up"! Thank you!
