Quick bullets points for design: -vintage ( 1920's - 1940's ) though improtant to have a balance where it is still contemporary- just a vintage feel -clean -legible (some of the retro cursive won't be legible from a distance) -inviting/charming not cold and banker-like -Open to either an emblem or pictoral mark. NOTE: the file below of hand is just an attractive color scheme, that is all. I realize the color scheme of La Diplomate is totally different and less bright though sometimes a classic design with contemporary colors can really work. Our company has been around for a while and we feel that a make over is called for- a new look. We are an independently owned residential real estate brokerage in Minneapolis, MN. The name was picked by my father about 30 years ago just because he liked the association with Monopoly and Boardwalk was one of the more prestigious properties on the board. That said, there is no boardwalk in Minneapolis and yet the name seems to work. The vibe we want to express is boutique shop/not corporate, friendly yet very put together/classy/sharp. We are not a huge company and want to express our personal flavor while also maintaining a strong sense of trust, like " yeah, we are not a huge company and you will benefit from that because we are real people who care. " Color scheme is very important and it has to stand the test of time. Currently most all big real estate companies are either red, blue, or red/white/blue, and this is sort of boring and outdated. We want to stand out while not being overly janky/bright/too cheap looking. We are open to the possibility of a more classic font like 1920-40s though by no means restricted to that. This logo will be on yard signs, web, print and needs to be very legible from a distance . Clean lines are good. the current house logo that we have incorporated in current logo is nice and can be used or modified, or completely abandoned if you have a strong idea of another image- though something either home related or "homey" feeling- ( possible ideas: open hand, a tree, outline of home, a door, a key, - really open to a new image that creates a feeling of home without being overly blatant). Also, open to a very small tagline though if it muddles the look we may ditch it. Attached current logo is just to show you the house and what we have , though we want different so go for it. We need the following: -logo/business cards below can be dealt with after logo is picked for additional fee: -letterhead/envelope -yard sign that is rectangular approx 24" across by 36" vertical. I can get you the needed format . - Open house signs ( tent style ) -directional signs
