ikigai is a japanese concept, roughly translated to "reason for being": https://assets.weforum.org/editor/t…tXq81c.jpg
the firm's vision is to spread ikigai by financing sustainable projects. As ikigai unites the four concepts (what you love, what the world needs, what you can be paid for and what you're good at) it would be good to visualize this unity and centre-ness in the logo.
For the avoidance of doubt I'm not japanese and the firm is based in Europe, i.e. no kanji please.
I quite like Japanese aesthetics (think "zen") as well as danish design, and it would be good to use natural colors (see this: http://bit.ly/2zPXClt, but please don't get too hung up on it, I'm open for suggestions). Please use either white or another light color background.
I'd like to have the logo including a symbol and the text "ikigai advisors" spelled out, such that the logo can be also split into two if needed.
full logo: symbol + text "ikigai advisors"
split 1: only symbol
split 2: only text
the full logo should have a compact form in total, i.e. not too long and thin (such that it's readable even in small format)
symbol: the company will work in various impact areas like environment, education or health. therefor the symbol should not focus only on one area like a tree standing for environment. the symbol must be versatile embodying impact investing as a whole (therefore can be abstract as well)
The font on the business card should be also usable for other corporate documents (presentations, letters, website etc.), therefore please be creative, but remember that it needs to be professional and easily readable
