Strong Intent is an executive coaching business. We teach (generally business) people the basics of self-mastery: habit development, meditation, strength and flexibility training, self-analysis and reflection. Our clients are generally men (though not exclusively) who are hitting their "mid-life crisis." They're not sure of their purpose, their bodies have generally started to soften and fatten, and they're looking to make massive changes in their lives. We show people how to develop daily practices that allow them to become progressively better versions of themselves. Our philosophy is captured by a remark by Friedrich Nietzsche: All weakness is weakness of will. And another by Victor Hugo: People do not lack strength -- they lack will. Our idea is that people do not lack the capacity to become exceptional and to live excellent lives. Rather, they generally lack the will (the intent) to the make massive action required to become excellent. Hence our company name: Strong Intent. We believe that anyone with a strong intent to become a better version of themselves can do so. They can liberate themselves through the application of daily discipline sustained by their strong intent (to become progressively better versions of themselves).
