Abstract, Artistic Earth Logo For New Foundation

We’re looking for a symbol/logo that will be used to represent our family’s foundation. We will be supporting a number of initiatives, from arts to health to environmental causes.

The core of both will be a pastel earth inspired by the ‘Tom Fruin Watertower’ that would look, in some ways, like the earth logo for ‘Birth Without Borders.’ (image attached) We’d like a similar cloud coverage representing the continents with the pastel colors in the background of the earth roughly representing a mountain or mountain range. Our last name, Cahill, will be incorporated with a ‘C’ wrapping much of this globe. Attached is a very rough, terrible mockup... We’d want the C to be much less prominent. The core logo should work with the 'C' removed as well with it. Likewise, the name "Rhodes Wolfe Brik Foundation" should be separate from the 'earth' part of the logo. For us, the stained glass design element of the water tower represents both urban environments and the pursuit of the arts. The globe represents a sense of adventure, of what lies ahead, while the mountain(s) represent the individual pursuit of overcoming a specific challenge.
