AlphaForms is an elite youth soccer academy focused on employing a unique methodology in developing individual technique and fostering skill acquisition in young players. This logo will appear on the new jerseys (our website as well) for the launching of competitive soccer club program, comprised of the uniquely talented players brought through the academy.
We are located in Dallas, TX and compete against other elite clubs such as FC Dallas, Solar Soccer Club, Dallas Texans Soccer Club.
Origin of the name, AlphaForms:
Our speciality is the development of technique and transitioning it into skill. We focus on technique above everything else. "Technique Conquers All" as well as "Progress Not Perfection" are the primary messages enforced in each session. "Forms" is a nod to Socrates' Theory of Forms; Forms being the most perfect rendition of a physical object/expression, ie. technique. Socrates provides that perfection of technique, or Forms, can only exist theoretically and though we may come close, perfection is impossible. Therefore, always striving for perfect technique with the understanding that perfection is impossibly dynamic, we make progress (Progress Not Perfection) during the process.
"Alpha" refers to the obvious; the primary or dominant entity, in our case, the dominant player on the pitch, the 10. We produce goal scorers and playmakers as a result of our focus on technique and individual skill.
Our boys, one in particular, may be the best pound-for-pound (age adjusted) youth soccer player in the US and we would like our logo and our digital presence to represent that confidence he, as well as the rest of us, carry in our ability to produce and perform at elite levels.
We would like to offer our logo up to your creative expertise. We had originally envisioned a shield/crest-type logo similar to that of English Premier League, MLS, La Liga, etc. with integration of an alpha animal (lion, bear, silverback gorilla), but I am open to your creativity.
