Brief on new logo for AMSTERDAM PRODUCE SUMMIT
The Amsterdam Produce Summit is a new Business-to-Business conference designed to attract thought-leaders from European supermarket chains who will gather to discuss the future of produce (fruits and vegetables) sales & marketing within their stores.
This conference is an important high-level meeting of top Produce Executives. The Amsterdam Produce Summit is an extension of other conferences our company puts together (see links to the New York Produce Show, London Produce Show, Global Cherry Summit and Fresh Careers Fair) and is the first meeting of its kind in the fruit and vegetable industry.
The logo must be easy to read in both B&W, in PMS colors and in 4-color Process. Please consider that the logo will be placed on business cards, on our website and as giant posters hung from the ceiling or on a building. Since we cannot predict the placement of the logo, it would be best to keep the logo within a square or circle, as opposed to something long and horizontal.
The logo should represent a few of the unique attributes of the Summit:
1) The city of Amsterdam is an iconic place, known for business innovation and international trading. The logo might have elements of Amsterdams’ skyline, cultural imagery such as bicycles, and/or the Global nature of the city
2) The fruit and vegetable industry is our core audience, so any representation of fruits and vegetables, even in a subtle way, would be important. However, we are not talking about the growing of fruits and vegetables, so no shovels or hoes please. We are talking about marketing fruits and vegetables mainly in supermarkets.
3) This is a business-to-business meeting of executives who are gathering to learn and share ideas about ways to increase more fruit and vegetable consumption. The logo might incorporate images of people shaking hands or in a learning environment
