ARTiZEN Kombucha is a tea tonic, naturally fermented using a scoby. We have 12 organic flavours, sold in 355ml stubbies and 750 ml flip top bottles. Refillable at our On Tap stations located in health food stores and coffee shops in one city and four towns (all located in Ontario, Canada).
We are local, handcrafted, and true to organic premium standards of a micro brew.
We chose the name ARTiZEN as a play on words: artisan (as in artisan handcrafted production). Our kombucha is both art (energy, creativity, explosion) and zen (meditative, enlightened state).
Young people love our kombucha and share hype for it with enthusiasm on social media. So we want to be cool and appealing to the urban, hip crowd.
However, our number 1 client is middle aged women, mostly caucasian, with an annual income over $40,000. They buy our kombucha to restore their digestive health, and to share with their family. The logo has to be comforting and trustworthy of their loyalty to us.
We pride on being Canadian, we own a permaculture inspired homestead (sustainable, organic). However, we also love the Asian inspiration for love of tea, fermentation, and the zen approach to nature and being.
Imagine the logo not just on the bottle, but on a tshirt, hat, tattoo. A similar company to ours is http://o5tea.com/kombucha/. And we are opening our own shop like them. However, we ourselves relate more to Canadian culture (ART), transformed and toned down by the simplicity and vastness of ZEN.
Generally people like our logo, but the current logo is a duplicate of our homestead logo for AGAPE GARDENS. ARTiZENKombucha has outgrown to be its own business with its own following. We would like to freshen up the momentum and give its fans a new breath of cool.
Most folks tell us that they love our labels, because they are simple, craft and not overly colorful. However, we were hoping to have a logo that we can play around with more, and one that reflects ARTIZEN.
A logo that is easy to carve on tap handles for refill station is something we look for as well.
Circle is life, planet, and we like circles if its harmonious in your design. Not required though.
