The ASN Roadshow is a feature-length screening featuring clips from archives around the world. These clips are from various formats (digital, film, video) and the subjects can be almost anything - for example: silent films, industrial films, news, newsreels, hollywood films, local television, cultural heritage, sports .. anything with moving images. The Roadshow will highlight the work done by these keepers of cultural heritage - archivists, archives, and other media professionals.
The logo is to represent this evening of clips, and will be used for to brand the Roadshow, though the content each year will change. The target audience is the public, people interested in seeing media (in theatres or streamed), and interested in our cultural heritage.
Our organization is the Association of Moving Image Archivists and (if possible) we would like a way to include that with the logo when appropriate.
It is important that the logo not be specific to any format - for example, it should not be focused just on film, or just on video. The Roadshow includes all formats.
