We are a family owned and operated craft canned goods company, with over 200 years of family recipes and experience; based out of King & Queen County, VA. We specialize in using only the finest organic & locally grown ingredients, while priding ourselves on maintaining the old tried and true methods when making our recipes. The family is built around my grandmother Susiette JACKSON, who resides at JACKSON FARMS in VIRGINIA. She has carried on the canning traditions and skills from her mother, and grandmother. She has been receiving first place prizes in multiple contests, every year since 1984; including the state fair; on 60 different recipes. Most notably her jellies, jams, preserves, & pickles. She is known throughout Virginia as the "Pickle Queen". We are currently still working on trying to narrow down our target audience but ideally we would like to focus on young professionals and more trendy communities that are willing to spend a little extra a not only a quality product but that pays homage to our local area(s) past, local farmers, etc. We feel that aligning ourselves with the craft beer industry would be a solid fit. To further explain, we want to show off that we are the small guy and support the small guy business movement. We want to capture the attention of those who want a quality product that they can connect with and know they are supporting their own areas and helping preserve its rich cultures and traditions when they purchase our products.

Diseño de inspiración
We had a close friend who is one of the top artists in Richmond, freehand some art work for us but currently ran into some family emergencies and can no longer continue the project. One of his pieces are attached below. We originally wanted to encorporate our county coat of arms and replace the crown with a drawing of the main ingredient of the product(jelly, pear, pickle, etc. we wanted each product to be its own unique piece of art so that we could have more of a true rough around the edges craft look. We are trying to combine the feel of local old time recipes, with the slightly raw, strong, & slightly elegant look of a truly hand crafted product. We ideally would like a main logo that would be more conservative w a classy touch as attached below, that would go on all lids and respresent the actual company itself. Then, a separate logo fitting for the labeling of the products. All files submitted need to be scalable (make bigger or smaller) to fit labels. Please use common file types (jpeg, etc)
