The business name was developed from the owner's Surname... Holst. And the cafe building has a lot of wood throughout, but in a very classy and chic fit out.
We want to have a logo that has potential to move throughout all future marketing - for example to have a whole logo including a little coffee 'Bean' within the logo, but the 'bean' can be used as the identity on all future branding - without having to use the whole logo.
I have included 3 examples of this below... if the Starbucks logo below was ours, we would be able to use the woman in the centre of the logo for our marketing, without the use of the whole logo. If One For The Road logo was ours, we would use the cup as the secondary logo for all our marketing. If Zarraffas logo was ours, we would use the Giraffe as the secondary logo to all our marketing.
For example if we were marketing a new chocolate drink and cookie deal - we could use the lady holding the chocolate drink and cookie in both hands. Or we could make the cup filled with the chocolate drink and have cookies falling into the cup and around the ground. Or we could have the giraffe bending down to drink from the chocolate drink/eating cookies. We will be using this secondary logo for all marketing on a monthly basis, so it really needs to have this element incorporated into the logo design.
