I create websites and web apps for companies, businesses and individuals, and I also do embedded systems design and custom electronics. Most of my work is in open-source environments, and I would like to brand my custom plugins, libraries and projects with a common theme.
Some samples of my work can be found about the internets:
main website: http://emc2innovation.com/, Twitter: https://twitter.com/EMC2Innovation, WP Alert Boxes: http://wordpress.org/plugins/emc2-alert-boxes/, Popup Disclaimer: http://wordpress.org/plugins/emc2-popup-disclaimer/, Custom Help Videos: http://wordpress.org/plugins/emc2-custom-help-videos/
As the current logo is pretty much just text, I am interested in exploring a more graphical approach - something that can have text in a large version, but can also be used as an icon. I'm not stuck on a particular font, and in the past I've used Bebas, Helvetica Neue and Dock 11.
The current site tries to work in a slogan of "Design, Electronics, Programming, Innovation". This is basically a description of the work I do, it's not terribly useful in actually describing the company as a whole.
It feels somewhat important to reflect values of programmable creativity, industrial approach, ingenuity and structure (and anywhere in between). I'm a fan of subtle patterns and textures and hidden messages - bonus points if you can incorporate some facet or feature that relates to programming, the internet and/or memes.
Thanks for stopping by!
