Yes, this is a PODCAST COVER ART, not a "logo" per se. That means it must conform to podcast cover art best practices, as described here: https://www.buzzsprout.com/blog/10-…st-artwork.
NOTE: Do NOT submit a design if you don't read those best practices first. For example, NO microphones in design.
They are Federal Law Enforcement’s greatest allies in the war on drugs, terrorism, organized gangs and arms dealing. Their life and work includes some of the most unbelievable, adventurous, shockingly violent and harrowing stories imaginable. They are undercover agents. And as “U.C.’s” these agents were around death as if written by invitation. They bought dope from some of the most ruthless kingpins in the world. They were marked for death by warlords, capos and their sicarios. They survived gunfights straight out of a Michael Bay movie. And they killed. Their stories include grisly murders, betrayals, kidnapping, assassinations, lies, and the treachery of double-agents at the highest level of government. And for the first time, they will personally share their stories in their own podcast.
A podcast that showcases the lives and stories of law enforcement’s top covert agents. Like “Serial” every season will feature a different undercover agent who will share their unique story. From the mafia in New York with Joe Pistone, to the outlaw biker gang “The Mongrels” with Billy Queen. We’ll go from the badlands of the Guadalajara where Hector Berrellez took on the nascent “Federation” Cartel, to the dangerous Golden Triangle, where Eddie Follis infiltrated the world’s biggest opium ring. Given the variety of theaters and agents in this arena, the podcast could goon for dozens of seasons.
While Ed is the host of the show it is not about him, thus we should not have Ed's image in the art.
ONE IDEA - JUST ONE IDEA (not necessarily THE idea):
Thought-starter for all designers: Logo in foreground — under and over an IMAGE. think michael mann or steven soderbergh. a long, wide shot. gritty landscape. just two men at the trunk of a car.
MORE RAW MATERIALS FOR CREATIVE:
drugs… guns… money… We really liked DR. DEATH and DIRTY JOHN art. simple.
