We are converting a historical brewery building in a small tourist town in Missouri back to a functional brewery. The building has been vacant since prohibition.
The town is of French Heritage, founded in the 1700's with a strong German influence in the 1800's (when the brewery was founded).

We aren't looking for images of beer (mugs, bottles, etc.) in the logo. We're looking for something that will make our product stand out from other beers on the shelf (rather than something that looks like a typical brewery label).
Attached is a current photo of the building and a historic picture with what we believe is the original logo. We do like the idea of using the building and original font as some designers have done. But we are interested in seeing other options as well.
The cat carrying a kitten logo (in the sample logo section) is for a Japanese moving company. I think that image is very iconic and makes sense for what the company does but without being too literal (like people carrying furniture or a moving truck). It's clever and I'm not sure if there is something comparable for a brewery, but if you can think of anything, we'd love to see it!
Thank you and we look forward to seeing your ideas!
