Keystone Systems
Hi there! My name is Brett, and I could really use your creative talent to help me launch my new company. Here's the story.
Keystone Systems is a software startup specializing in add-on components for the Microsoft Dynamics platform. Our focus is to provide elegant and innovative solutions for ERP users and implementers.
So why "keystone"? A keystone is the centerpiece that is placed in the middle of an arch to hold the other stones in place. This symbol accurately represents what we're all about, offering products that integrate with the existing pieces of the system to make it more effective.
The prospect of having several creative professionals working for me is exciting, and I take my responsibilities as a client seriously. I will, at a minimum, review new designs on a daily basis and provide constructive feedback for each one.
As a designer you have hundreds of opportunities to choose from and I am grateful that you're taking the time to work on my project. If there is anything I can do personally to make your job easier, please let me know.
Our target audience is primarily Microsoft Dynamics partners, followed by their corporate customers. Immediate plans involve distributing our products throughout North America, with future plans to make them available to various European countries.
As a bootstrapped startup company, it is essential that potential customers regard us as a stable and reputable partner.
The logo design needs to be clean and uncomplicated, and not rely heavily on colors and visual effects. Avoid anything that looks overly Web 2.0 (cartoonish, pastel colors, excessive gradients, bubble fonts).
It should contain the words “Keystone Systems”. There are no additional taglines or slogans to be included in the logo design.
I've attached a photo and clip art of a keystone for your reference. Personally I think the classic keystone shape looks dated, so it is not necessary to include it in the logo if it doesn't fit. Feel free to reinvent it or come up with your own unique design.
This logo will be used on our website, business cards, stationery, brochures, banners and embroidered swag product. It needs to scale well to large and small sizes.
Final artwork should be submitted in AI, EPS and TIFF format, with text converted to outlines in vector files. Please indicate what fonts were used in the development of the logo, as we may decide to purchase them for future marketing communications.
