“Cans for Life” is a social media campaign that wants to raise awareness about the existence, the numerous benefits (like environmental benefits (e.g. Recycling); NO GREENWASHING) of metal packaging through creative, entertaining, informative and fun stories about nutrition and food, DIY, recycling, design, art and more. The campaign aims to create a positive mind-set around metal packaging and to encourage more people to decide for products in metal packaging – a sustainable packaging which recycles forever. The target audience are consumers who are interested in sustainability themes and in the various benefits and uses of cans: can crafts, can art, canned food (recipes), canned drinks, fun facts, trends and more.
The campaign was created by Empac (European Metal Packaging), the European association for producers of rigid metal packaging. Its membership consists of more than 200 manufacturers, suppliers and their national associations. However, in the logo Empac should not be named.

The logo should contain either all can types (Food can or fish can, aerosol, paint can, crown cork, potentially a beverage can should be used; see attached image) or no cans at all. The infinity symbol of Empac’s recycles forever logo can be used to emphasise the sustainability of cans. (http://metalpackagingeurope.org/recyclesmark)
There are no restrictions regarding font types.
The logo should be modern and not too serious.
Colours as described must be used in the logo (pick one or two colours max per logo).
Logo should be able to be used as a Facebook profile picture (square preferred). Alternative: The logo could come in several variations in size and colours.
