Lifeshifter is a community and platform which connects recruiters to highly skilled and educated women and mothers who want to work part-time/flexibly. We write and publish original articles based around flexible working focusing on women's 'working life', juggling motherhood with work, finding work/life balance, alternatives to a 9-5 job, how to work remotely and/or from home etc. We connect our readers to potential opportunities that will enable them to take control of their careers without giving up on commitments in other areas of their lives. The company has a social mission to tap into a highly underutilised and/or overworked female talent pool by surfacing 'cool' and 'rewarding' work which is flexible & part-time. We want to help women 'get working' but on their terms! We also support women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) industries. We are exploring ways to move away from ‘clocking hours’, towards a system where work is evaluated based on quality and deadlines. The online Lifeshifter experience is: aspirational, inspirational, supportive, about community, making connections, changing your mindset and your perspective on your life and making things possible. We want our users and recruiters to feel great when they experience the site! Lifeshifter's ambition is to become a global brand all women think of when they are about to undergo or have undergone a major life-changing event, and want to find work which allows them to embrace that 'lifeshift'. Lifeshifter slogan is: rethinking work. rethinking life.

We need the logo to be positive and forward thinking. Though our current project is focused on women particularly we are keen to avoid obvious sexual stereotypes as our content is equally relevant to many other social groups as well. Our target demographic are women in their 30s-50s who are professional, have a family to look after, are looking for change in their working/personal life. These are highly skilled and educated women.
