We are a Christian-based company, but our logo should not reflect Christian symbolism, because many of our customers may not be Christians. Think of a man about to enter the arena. He's prayed up, in the zone, and is just about to step through the door. The look on his face at that moment is what we're looking for. A furrowed brow, but not angry, just resolved. Not cocky, but quietly confident. Google KMFDM for the type of artwork I picture (minus the smut, of course...). Just the face/head would work. Fewer colors is a plus, but if color is introduced, it should favor dark forest greens. Pictures provided are not ours, so don't use them. I included them just to give you a sense of what I'm trying to describe. I actually think the gorilla captures it the best, believe it or not...he's the real deal, and everybody knows it, so he doesn't have to do much to demonstrate it.
OR you can take all of that into account, use some of that creativity that I know you have (and that we desperately lack), and come up with something completely different/unexpected that we love.
Thanks for your efforts in advance, and good luck!
(Added info on 7/19) We can't use a gorilla in our logo, because someone in this industry is already using gorillas. So please try to capture the attitude behind the gorilla instead. If you like to use animals as your inspiration, perhaps a red-tailed hawk could serve as inspiration instead. I've added a couple photos for your convenience. I apologize for the confusion I might have caused, and I hope to see more submissions!
