For the past 70 years, the Alpha Tau Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity have been the owners and stewards of the historic John Paine Mansion in Troy, NY. Built in 1894 as the "Grandest House in Troy," this magnificent property has been used as a major movie set (including Martin Scorsese's "The Age of Innocence") due to its unique Gilded Age character and features. The Castle Alpha Tau Foundation (http://www.castleatf.org/The-John-Paine-Mansion.html) is a 501c3 charitable foundation devoted to the protection and preservation of the Paine Mansion for future generations. We are embarking on a major capital campaign, dubbed Castle150, with the goal of raising $2M over the next few years for a full renovation of the property and restoration of its unique architectural features.
