"Certified So Publications" or perhaps just the initials or a shortened version: "CertSoPub". I'm not sure where to go with this one? What really I need is something that looks good on the spine of a narrow book. Perhaps this means I lean toward an image or stylized letters, or a combination of both. Either way I'm totally open to your interpretation of what would look best.

I self-published a book entitled "Certified So: Redefining Happiness," but this logo will also be used on other books as well.
Target audience includes spiritually minded youth group age kids and upwards, but the flagship book mentioned above also has strong crossover appeal to the secular side.

For the abstract logo, perhaps it would help for your designers to view the attached book cover? The light emanating from the hand is meant to symbolize something miraculous that occurs when we seek to give away the very thing we think we have the very least ofl The miracle being that even if we only have a mustard seeds worth of happinesss or any other Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) it is endlessly replenished so we never run out.
Here is an example of a one-liner from the book that helps explain this concept. I refer to this as "the Mustard Seed Concept."
"Even if you only have
An apples worth of happiness
It is utterly impossible
To ever give it all away!"
PS: "Certified So" implies that anyone can certify/verify that this concept is so.
