We are community church in downtown Phoenix, AZ that is inclusive to all, regardless of their beliefs. 50% of our spiritual community is made up of LGTB individuals and couples.
There is a developing urban downtown community developing around us and we are in the process of rebranding and staying relevant to that growing community. Many of the condominiums and apartments are attracting the millennials and younger generation, which is a strong target audience moving forward.
Our church is more concerned with getting people involved in our community and social justice programs then attending church on Sunday morning. One's spiritual path is an individual path and we feel connecting with others and engaging in community is what drives many people in the growing community around us.

The fonts being used on our website, which is currently being redeveloped, are Montserrat and Cardo. It is not necessary that the logo font match either of those, but thought this would be helpful in complimenting what will be used in our marketing material.
Usage of both colors in the logo is important and the red color is going to be our primary color in our other marketing materials. It would be nice to incorporate some type of graphic image that could be a modern take or reflection on our tagline:
We do not wish to have anything "Religious" in our logo. No cross and no using "1" in the word "First".
UCC should not dominate First Church. Equal at most.
