"The Circle" needs a logo!

This is a personal project - We are a group of 4 lake houseboats who spend our weekends together in 4 separate houseboats (Photo of one of the houseboats attached) - Each weekend we tether the boats together and go to a cove to spend the weekend skiing etc. I own a promotional merchandise business and want to make some items for Christmas for everyone, but we need artwork, that depicts in someway "The Circle"
We refer to the group as the circle because of the protective nature of the friendships - kids growing up together etc. It's just a close group of people (30's and 40's) spending the weekends doing what they love. I think we would like something modern and hip and fun and clearly depicting what we are - doesn't have to be images of boats, but just reference in some way to boating or water or lake in some way.
