Target audience is 20's to 40's male business executive, with a slight slant towards what is current rather than stoic. The main gist of the logo should be that people live happier, more meaning-filled lives when they INTENTIONALLY allow their "true HEART" (that is, their core values) to drive their life choices rather than being driven by their raw emotions. For us, "heart" is about closely-held values rather than impulses and emotions (no matter how strong they may be at times). Most of my clients are well-educated.
If there is a slogan, it would be, "Calling Christian Professionals to Live Intentionally from Their True Hearts". However, I DO NOT want to incorporate any religious symbols into the logo. I also DO NOT want the slogan incorporated into the logo. Only the logo and the company name "Intentional Hearts" should be incorporated.
I would also like both a color version and non-color version of the logo you design, as I will at times use both.
As soon as a winning logo is chosen, it is my intent to place another bid for letterhead, envelopes and business cards, so keep that in mind as you design the logo (maybe you can win that bid, too).
Words that describe the feel I'm looking for in the logo: intentionality, direction, purpose/purposefulness, energetic, hopeful, possible, vision, living from one's center, character, strength, fortitude, leaning into change, pursuit of ideals/dreams, planning, following your unique path, straining towards the goal, eyes fixed on the goal.
One more detail: I would rather NOT use an actual heart-shaped anything in the logo. I would appreciate your creativity as an artist to communicate the above descriptors without using an actual heart symbol. However, if you are going to incorporate a heart, the concept of intentionality MUST be clearly evident and prominent in the design. Otherwise, your design will not win.
