We sell coffee and bakery items in a 80yr old building on the corner of the square in a small rural Missouri tourist town. There are two primary types of tourists that come to the town 1) River floaters 2) Horseback riders. The town currently has no coffee shop and no bakery or sweets location. The shop needs the support of the locals as well as the tourists to survive. Our most important attitude is to be welcoming and loving to all types: local, tourists, conservatives, liberals, country folk, city folk, and everything between.

The town is nearby my grandfather's rural estate that we call "the farm". My grandfather was a larger than life character who built the largest architecture firm in the world. He put all his wealth into buying the land that my family now lives on. There is so much interesting history around him and the land. His name was "George", where the name of the shop came from. True to his jovial crazy character, he owned a parrot, also named George. It is still alive today, outliving him. It is a yellow-headed amazon parrot. We'd like to have this kind of parrot as a key part of our logo/identity.
