Community Climbs is a charity to get people into indoor rock climbing who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. One of the main ways we will be fundraising is by selling t-shirts with the logo on, so the logo needs to be "cool" enough for kids and people in the climbing community to want to wear it.

"Community Climbs" is a new charity being set up to provide sponsored climbing for under-privileged children and young people. The logo needs to be bold and trendy - something that will look great on t-shirts and other marketing material - and be representative of climbing. The logo is the first step in creating the Community Climbs (or "CC") brand.
As the logo will be printed on t-shirts the colours will all need to be in blocks, so not having a part of the logo where the colour blends from one colour to another.
The logo could either be the words "Community Climbs" with a separate icon, or the words could just be organised to be the icon itself.

In addition to the above brief we ask that rope is not used in the logo to represent climbing as this is not part of the service we will deliver.
We need to convey community and togetherness, alongside the excitement of climbing (/bouldering)
All of the logos we have received so far have been a logo icon, accompanied by the wording. It would be great to see someone's idea for a "typography logo" design. There are some really clever designs out there that creatively deliver the branding whilst still being clear to read.
