Deer Village is a (for now) small consulting company in Germany, specializing in customer management topics (Sales, Marketing, CRM, organizational topics in these fields). We are working for mid-sized to large companies in various industries, both business-to-business and business-to-consumer areas.
In addition, we are supporting start-ups and new business models through interim management, consulting and limited (co-)investments.
We are doing mostly conceptual work, from strategy-formulation down to implementation support. Very often, internet topics are part of what we do.

After some discussions on the platform we have changed our mind regarding two isotypes instead of one. So please disregard this part of the briefing, it makes more sense to have only one logo, probably to the left of the deer village Name.
END OF UPDATE
Deer Village is a word play on the location where Deer Village was founded: the Derendorf quarter of Düsseldorf. Not everyone in Germany will understand the term "deer" and will often wrongly understand that as "dear".
For the logo, our current thinking is to use the current font (Century Gothic) with condensed font-spacing. To the left of "deer village" we would like to have deer antlers, then "deer village", and to the right a symbol of a village. For that we like the design from the Bauhaus home improvement store http://www.bauhaus.info/ but obviously this should not be a direct copy.
Both logo elements should not be much high (if at all) than the font itself.
Both antlers and village logo should use the same color of the font. We are aware that this will create a very wide and low logo, this is okay.
