We're building a new employee portal that needs branding. It will be called Insight, so we need a logo that features the Insight name. The logo will be used almost exclusively in a digital application ... as the name of a website portal. It won't be used in signage, literature, etc. The website portal is called Insight because it gives our employees insight into all of the core information needed to conduct business at the company. For example, employees will use the site to manage all of our trailers: trailer inventory, which trailers need maintenance, which trailers need repairs, which repairs have been approved, which repairs need approving; which trailers are ready to be rented and leased to customers, etc. It will also contain all of our customer transactional data: Which customers have trailers out on rent and lease; copies of their rental agreement and much more. In short, Insight gives employees who are on the front lines of renting and leasing trailers all the data they need to manage the business from this website portal.
I've attached a sample screen shot of the portal, which is still under development. The logo will go where the XTRA Lease, currently highlighted in yellow, is. The RED band at the top is just a placeholder. It will be changed based on the design of the logo.
The logo should be simple. We'd also like to have it represented in the tab of the web browser. For example, I've attached a small screen shot of how part of Chrome's logo appears in a web browser tab.
