Macaron Bar will offer a unique, modern take on a traditional French pastry, the macaron. A macaron consists of a flavored filling sandwiched between two vibrantly colored almond meringue cookies. This is a lighter, more sophisticated alternative to common pastries such as cupcakes and donuts. We will offer a premium texture and flavor experience that is enhanced by the vibrant, cosmopolitan feel of our stores.
To enhance the customer experience and overall atmosphere of our flagship location we will offer a carefully curated selection of locally sourced coffees and teas, with a special emphasis on pour-over coffee.
Our consumer strategic target will be people who appreciate a new and different dessert experience. We will focus on 3 specific prime prospect groups within this target: young professionals and young families (YPs & YFs), women 25-55, and gay men 25-55.
Our retail store and kitchen will deliver a luminous contemporary atmosphere that sets the stage for our customers to take delight in a kaleidoscope of vivid colors and delectable tastes. We'll leverage the crisp, stark feel of white as the primary color on all surfaces in our stores (walls, cabinetry, countertops, etc.). This will be accentuated with limited bright color accents and our logo or key visual. The store design, including menu board, fixtures, and furniture will be simple and uncluttered. Premium construction materials, such as glass, stainless steel, glossy white laminate, and wood flooring, will be selected to support this premium aesthetic. Apple retail stores will be a design benchmark.
