- Brand/Company - We are a company that operates several watch and fashion stores in Switzerland that mainly target tourists. Now we are opening in Interlaken, Switzerland an outlet store.
The products sold will mainly be fashion brands (Moschino, Philipp Plein and other brands), sunglasses (Burberry, ray ban etc.), watches (price point from 100 USD to 4000 USD) but also other products like kitchen items (brands like Fissler, Zwilling, WMF etc.).
Target customer: Interlaken is a highly tourist focused market. A big part from Asia but they come from all over the world. Our existing stores target mainly the tourists but this outlet is targeting 50% Swiss customers and 50% tourists. 60% women, 40% men. Mainly between 16 and 40 years old but due to the kitchen items etc. also some people above the age of 40.
The logo has to be elegant, easy to read, highlight the luxurious component of the brands we sell at the same it is an outlet (40% off and higher discounts). It's not a "cheapo" outlet, it's a cool and trendy outlet.
The name Inoutlet plays with several aspects. The "In" (Inoutlet) stands for "Interlaken". We were looking for a name that connects with the region, that is short and easy to remember.
The "In" also plays with the "Out" in Outlet. It's fun and short.
We want to create a brand across social media that is well known in the area around Interlaken and one day maybe in Switzerland. At the same time the tourists (of whom most of them just are here once in their life) should get the feeling that this is a store they should visit (geotargeting ad campaigns on instagramming etc. for the people in the region). No misunderstandings, no taking risks when it comes to the meaning of the name in or the design of the logo in other languages/cultures.
Interlaken is between two lakes and is the gateway to some of the most beautiful mountains in the Swiss Alps. This could be used in the form of a picture or in some other way as the "In" replaces Interlaken in the logo. But not in a Heidi, conservative kind of way instead of a cool kind of way. At the same time easy to ready, easy to connect to Interlaken, easy to remember and cool. Like the store will be. Check the logos below that I like. They all have a hipster touch to it and a clear integration of a drawing, picture etc. I believe the location of Interlaken offers itself to be used somehow in a cool way in the logo.
We will have a big sign outside the store (lit at night), a facebook and instagram page and a simple website (opening hours etc.)
The tagline "Your Outlet in Interlaken" is an option. You can play with it or change it as well if you want to or if it is too long etc.
We need the logo with and without tagline
We need the logo with white background (transparent) and with whatever color you chose. We need to be able to print it on a rectangular sign (lit at night)
