We own a chain of higher-end convenience stores (gas stations, food marts, etc.) and car washes. Don't think your average gas station, they are family owned and much nicer and cleaner than your average station.
Our target market ranges from construction workers to stay-at-home moms.

The high-end, but classical feel. I also like the circular shape of the logo.
Simple design, fun concept.
Straightforward and simple. Allows us to use the wordmark and the stand alone logo.
Typeface-centric logo. A little too techy for my liking, but very simple.
Fun play on just the wordmark. Probably a little too intense for this project, but I like the direction and that it's a simply letters.
We are looking for something more typeface-centric (no animals or cheesy illustrations), like the "Mio Cafe" examples that we have attached. We love the idea of their brand identity being an inspiration for this project. In fact, something along these lines but with different colors is along the lines of what we're looking at.
In total, we're looking for a very simple look that is clean, refreshing, and friendly. Think of us as the Whole
Second, the "Charlie's Market" logo is our old logo that we've attached. By no means do we want it to be similar to that, we're simply attaching for reference. Also note that we have changed the name to "Charlie's Market" from "Charlie's Markets" (with an "S").
