'Dos comrades' with a combined marketing & communication experience of more than 15 years decided it was time to embark on a crusade. We felt creativity in sport marketing was lacking. So we decided to openly discuss sport marketing initiatives through our blog. We are not afraid of having disruptive, controversial points of view on these initiatives and aim to shake up the industry.
The ideal followers of our blog are the marketing/communication executives of A-sports brands (e.g. Nike), sports clubs and brands that are linked with sports (e.g. Coca Cola, Red Bull)
Our blog will be called 'the bigger and balder', as this is what we as early 30iers are becoming: bigger and balder. And so, to have some unique content on our blog, to give it some flair, we decided to take up a personal challenge: we will be training and preparing ourselves to run a marathon and keep our followers up to date by offering them unique (video) content, insights and share our personal experiences (the good and the bad).

We think our logo should stand for 'young', 'cool', 'fun', 'revolution' (a bit like the Red Bull brand). It may look like the lasted trendy logo's used for internet startups, but may also be retro or even manga-style. It may also refer in a funny visual way to our blog's title: the bigger and balder.
The font type used in the logo should/could also become the final font type for our blog.
At the end, it should represent our passion for sport and marketing/communication.
