The company sells a software product to companies running service centres; people use the workflow product as their main interface for their day-to-day activities. It tracks tickets/ cases, and workflows them to the right people at the right time, and allow managers to see how activities are progressing against their SLAs. Users are: service centre staff, their Team Leaders & senior management, plus the end-users submitting the tickets. We take the complexity out of all this and improve visibility of what's going on. The company & product focuses on: Simplicity, clarity, control, improvement.
Otros requisitos relativos al color
Not specific colours but a general brief: Bright, fresh, clean feel to the colours. Vibrant colours, perhaps ever-so-slightly muted/pastel. NOTE: STAY AWAY FROM MINT / EMERALD GREEN, AS THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO CURRENT BRAND COLOURS (SEE ATTACHED EN8 LOGO FOR REFERENCE OF THAT).
Estilo de diseño
We are looking for a strong, modern corporate logo as part of the rebrand of our software company. The company name is ‘enate’ (http://www.enate.net). The rebrand needs to emphasise the new message of ‘Simplifying Service Delivery’. Overview: The logo design should comprise: • a symbol, made from an abstract shape, not letters. The shape should try to emphasise: 'Turning Complexity into Simplicity'. • Keeping with the simplicity theme, the logo should ideally consist of a combination of only two or three colours. Should project: fresh, bright, clean. • The logo also needs to look appropriate on an app button. Details: • The text of the company name ‘enate’ to sit beside / underneath it. this text should be very minimalist in design. The symbol & company name will be used next to each other, but not intertwined; THE SYMBOL WILL OFTEN BE USED ON ITS OWN AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZABLE ENOUGH TO CARRY THE BRAND WITHOUT THE COMPANY NAME NEXT TO IT. • The logo can be an abstract shape, we’re not looking for a direct representation of ‘call centre’ or ‘workflow’ themes. Most of all it should be a strong, simple shape, not overly busy colour-wise or shape-wise; the company-wide messaging is all about SIMPLICITY and simplification, and the logo should reflect this. Ideally it should have a soft feel, curves rather than overly-angular: a strong, recognisable shape with few lines. • As well as simplicity, key theme of the company and what it sells is enabling improvement, so symbol shapes which could be interpreted as downward trajectories should be avoided. Colours • Keeping with the simplicity theme, the logo should ideally consist of a combination of only two or three colours. Should project: fresh, bright, clean. • Gradient: Only very subtle gradient can form part of the colouring. • The software product has recently been redesigned with a clean white background using Bootstrap look & feel. The logo should not look out of place in this environment. • Whatever final logo is chosen, a white silhouette variant of it will be displayed on the company's software product. To be clear: the logo doesn’t need to be a white silhouette, but the shape needs to be strong enough that it will look good being displayed like that. See attached screenshot of the new software screen header section (orange #E3693E), with the existing logo shown in this silhouette way. Company Name Text • Should be all lower case, sans-serif. Simplicity of look is important here also and, since a soft curved logo symbol is being requested, more circular-style text is interesting. See the ‘moa active’ logo font in the attachments for a font we quite like the look of, as well as ‘the nest’ example and even the more stylised ‘Tableau’ logo font. Take a lead from the look of those referenced fonts: keep it clean, simple. TrebuchetMS is what we have been using as a starting point, but we welcome designs to move on from this), and ‘-light’ fonts for a thinner, clean font are desired. Our Existing Logo Image of the previous brand are attached (Green & White en8).SINCE THIS IS A FRESH RE-BRAND, ANYTHING TOO SIMILAR TO THIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. What it should NOT be / contain: • DO NOT INCLUDE THE ‘e’ LETTER IN THE LOGO SYMBOL. DON’T TRY TO USE THE COMPANY NAME 'enate' WITHIN THE LOGO, or 'en8' EITHER. • Although the software is focused on service centre / call centre usage, do not include a direct telephone / headset motif as any part of the logo. Something more abstract is what we're looking for. UPDATE: • We're getting a lot of submissions which focus on using an 'e' in the symbol, and many which start with the 'enate' word and build around that as the design. Please do not submit designs of this type as they have to be eliminated. We do not want an ‘e’ symbol in the symbol design, only a very, very smart, subtle idea will make the grade if it involves a ‘e’; Also, we won’t accept a symbol which is intertwined with the word ‘enate’, as this will make it difficult to show the symbol on its own in a minimal form (e.g. on an app button). Thanks, David.
