The logo/brand is for my personal website and blog under veloiq.com.
The project is zooming in on training for endurance sports (mostly cycling of all sorts), sports science and managing a busy life around training. The target audience are endurance sports enthusiasts as well as otherwise busy people trying to juggle job, family, life and staying in shape from a similar demographic as mine (mid-thirty father of two with a career and bills to pay).
VéloIQ consists of the French word "vélo", which is commonly used to describe a bike here in Switzerland, and "IQ" which conveys that you should be smart about your training/kit/approach to the sport.
The concept behind it is to merge the passion for cycling and all things two-wheel related together with my aptitude for finding meaning in the numbers (eg. training IQ if you will).
The logo/brand will also be used for custom cycling kit designs (I'm still actively racing) and general clothing items such as T-shirts. Best case, branded kit/clothing can contribute to recoup some of the cost of my participation in the 2017 BC Bike Race in Canada.
