Our slogan: Great stories, great storytellers. We are a small press. We publish a variety of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction for adult and young adult readers in paper, electronic, and audio editions. See our website: www.greensnakepublishing.com to see the kinds of books we publish. This logo is part of a relaunch and redesign of our website.
Other color requirements
No particular colors in mind, however, we DON'T want anything fluorescent, and we don't want orange or purple.

We need a logo that we can use on the spines, title pages, and back covers of our books. Also need it for our newsletter and our website. It needs to look good in color and in black and white because the interiors of our books are not in color. The spines of some of our books are not very wide, so we need something distinctive when rendered small. We're looking for something elegant, iconic, modern, and distinct. It could just be GSP as long as there is something creative and distinctive in the design. Or it could incorporate all three words written out if that works better. It could be an image and the words and we could pick one or the other for out business, depending on the context. Added to brief later: Please see attached photos for examples of existing logos of other publishers and how they look on the bottom of the spine and on title pages. We need something similar (although don't copy any of these!) for the spines of our books. In other words, the image needs to fit and look good in that small space. So that means that in addition to an image with the words Green Snake Publishing, we need another version of the logo with the same image and the letters GSP. We would use one or the other depending on the context and space limitations. If we have a thick book, for example, we might use the one with the words. If we have a thin book, we would use the one with the initials. On the title pages of our books and on our website we would most likely use the version with the words, since we would have more room.
