We allow people to debate two sides of an argument. e.g. "Twitter is overpriced based on standard financial market metrics" vs "Twitter is not overpriced as internet companies rely on network effects and winner takes all". Users will vote up one side or the other side. The idea is that conflict and debate creates valuable ideas.
