The Axis Project is a community of active people with disabilities that come together to exercise and be social in New York City from around the tri-state area. Axis runs day time programming that empowers people to lead active lives and exposes them to a network of other young, involved individuals. The target audience is the young disability community - people who would typically not go to a program for people with disabilities but who are looking for community of friends and mentors. The Axis Project is the "hub for active, empowered people living with a disability" and is called "axis" because it is the center around which opportunity, friendship, and access to resources revolves.

In terms of branding, we want this to be a clean, modern brand that incorporates the new disability symbol (attached) and that builds on progress in the way that people think about disability.
We do NOT want to reinvent the symbol or be too unique in color scheme. Rather, we would really like to situate ourselves as the community that embodies the progress that is being made.
