• A focus on typography; flexible on the colors. We are thinking about a strong red and white color palette, yet are not married to the idea. Creativity is key.
• Works on the web or as an app, but not too mainstream, i.e. Facebook, or other similar blue and white designs. What is important is an original design with a modern somewhat flared custom font style, yet appropriate for a social media site.
• It should inspire energy, youthfulness and fun, yet contain elements of elegance and minimalism while evoking visions of people gathering, working, socializing, and studying. Please see the portfolio of logos we have chosen (see attachment) to gain an idea of the overall impression of style we wish to portray.
More about our brand:
We want our brand image to be modern, energetic, and most of all useful: a friendly, easy to use tool, quickly guiding users to the right spot at the right time:
a quiet place to study, a lively bar scene, or a no-wait delicious restaurant. Crowdabout is an hour-by-hour dynamic guide saving users time, relying on social participation to fuel it. Snapchat meets yelp!
The site is currently being developed at http://www.croudabout.co and is still in an alpha stage. One of our next goals is to overhaul the design of the site. First we need a strong and attractive logo/pictogram to get us started. We will use the look, feel, and colors of this logo to influence the final colors of the crowdgraph and crowdmeter. If there are any questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you!
