Our first thought is to emphasize the Visioneer part of the logo more than the studios part (think like Pixar's logo), but if you find the visual balance works better with both, feel free to emphasize both.
Added 11/2: Please watch how any treatment divides the word up. For example, some designs we're seeing do a strong treatment on the "O" and then end up with very distinct "visi" and "neer" words, which we dislike. The whole word should still feel unified and read as "Visioneer," even with any letter treatments.
Added 11/3 afternoon: 1. We're seeing lots of film reels and play buttons with the O. It'd be great to have more variety, for example, try other letters, such as the "V," if you want to stylize a letter. Also feel free for both stylized letters and separated icons to go beyond a play button or film reel. 2. We are not initially making animated movies, but we're not making serious dramas right away either. Try for something less corporate/tech feeling without going right to animation whimsical.
Added 11/3 early evening: It'd be great if the logo conveyed being forward-thinking (I don't just mean italicize it/give it a slant) and visual. Think like the FedEx arrow in the negative space.
