Footgolf Nation is the first online retailer and apparel brand devoted entirely to the new sport of footgolf. Footgolf combines soccer and golf to form possibly the most fun hipster sport in the world. Footgolf Nation will be using the logo for its online retail site, FootgolfNation.com as well as using it on argyle athletic socks, shorts, golf shirts, and hats. Our brand personality is fun, active, laid back, passionate, hip, and outdoors. Our primary audience is 20-35 year old males.
Because of the juxtaposition of having excitable soccer players wearing loud argyle socks in the conservative environment of the golf course. We would like to bring some of that mixture of loudness and conservativeness to our logo.
Our initial thinking on colors is to use green and blue to pull in the primary colors of enjoying a day outside at the golf course. One of the primary benefits of playing footgolf is kicking a ball in a relaxed competitive setting, as opposed to the fast-paced constant running of a soccer match. This element is key to the sport’s identity and ours.
