We would like the GiveHalf brand to represent a simple, effortless way to make giving an every day option.
It should represent helping with social causes like hunger (and eventually others like education and the environment). It doesn't necessarily have to feature food or the idea of a restaurant. It also shouldn't be too literal (e.g. doesn't have to be something cut in half or literal picture of giving).
It should also represent a brand that encourages "cause loyalty", where people are loyal to a social cause (like anti-hunger or education) and NOT to a product or company (e.g. airlines or credit cards).
We would also like a design that would lend itself easily to an icon or be able to be adjusted easily to be printed on a small square or circular sticker. This can be either the picture part of the logo alone, or an abbreviation of the larger logo design.
Examples: Linkedin, Apple, GameCube, twitter
We are hoping for something simple and clean (and a more abstract than literal).
The font should be something that conveys the feeling of helping, charity, trustworthiness, and be approachable (but not silly and not too playful). We would like a font that is distinctive and different than the usual fonts you use in Microsoft Word.
Note: we would like the entire word "GiveHalf" to be visible.
We are on New York time (GMT -4:00)
Thanks in advance for taking a look and participating!
