How I imagine it feeling:
I think it should look clean and sleek, yet strong. It should convey deep knowledge, innovation and feel unbiased. Most importantly, it needs to convey our scope and depth of market knowledge and relationships. Since we're a new company, it needs to come across as very credible.
Who is the customer:
We have two types of customers, as a marketplace: Sports Properties (Teams) and National Brands (Companies)
Brands: National companies, innovative, unique or looking for a new, better or clearer path to success.
Specifically, Marketers and CEO’s is who we speak to.
They’re looking for partners with credibility that can add something of value to their organization, and the logo needs to establish our credibility.
Properties: Professional sports teams, especially those that are more apt to be innovative, think differently about the business and are willing to look at supplemental partnerships that add value to their organization in a big way, without risk.
Sales Management, Marketers, Financial Officers and CEO’s.
What motivates them depends on the team, but making their owners happy, showing solid growth and profitability and innovating, while not being left behind the other teams.
The colors and look should feel creative, yet not over complicated. Think of Evernote, Slack, etc. We want to be the standard within this specific industry (there are no market leaders).
