1) A Great Logo Must Be Functional - work in black and white as well as in color, work in different sizes it must represent that company in many different contexts and still get the message across.
2) The logo should be unique and recognizable
3) Representation of Value At Work. It should be possible to tell a story using the logo. These are the stories we usually tell;
a) Future success of most companies is dependent on innovation and is hinging on motivated and creative people. The way human societies went from small nomadic bands to kingdoms and finally to democracies companies exactly the same way companies are evolving too. Early on we had small single owned stores and companies, with telegraphs and telephone it was possible to centralize and create hierarchies that centrally govern large organizations this was the rise of Generals (GE etc..) Today technology makes it possible to decentralize work, but only those changes that fulfill peoples needs and desires actually will happen. Decentralized organizations are attractive because they give more people more freedom, work becomes interesting and more enjoyable. The result is both economic and noneconomic benefits.
b) Innovation and improvement is learneable, teachable & disciplined set of skills, all companies can become high velocity organizations if they work at it.

Esoteric facts about us:
We work interdisciplinary using systems thinking, lean thinking and design thinking (think ideo and the design thinking lab at Stanford) all combined with cognitive sciences like psychology.
See http://dschool.stanford.edu/ for design thinking.
-NOTE1: We have selected three colors that we feel could be used. It does not mean that all colors should be used at the same time.
-NOTE2: The name in the design can be used either as Value@Work, Value @ Work or Value at Work based on which one you can create the best proposal.
