Hello there Designers! We are excited to have you play with us! LIGMO is more than a word or something cute to say - its about transformation. We are invitational and engaging but deal with very serious issues and we like to confront issues in a non-confrontational manner. Our core values are fun, forgiveness, love, total self-responsibility, being our best selves and bringing out the best in others.
We have a mascot stickfigure from the book Simply Ridiculous - her name is MeMe. She goes through lots of Simply Ridiculous antics before she learns how to LIGMO! Let It Go. Move On. That's our goal, to be with people who are struggling with their humanity and provide practical tools to help them change their perception of themselves and MOVE ON! Our new website design is waiting for a logo that just nails it.
LIGMO! Always has an exclamation point after. The font that had been used was "Andy" and was used on the book cover of "Simply Ridiculous" so we kept going with it. However, it looks too kiddish and we are a serious (but fun) company. Need a clean, fun and interesting look which tells what this is! I want a website that is chic, inviting and allows us to show our stuff.
We have the privilege of serving at business, teachers and staff development workshops, churches, public workshops and lots of women and girls groups.
Simplest description - Self Help. We are guided self-help facilitators. We help people Let it go and move on though the use of a variety of remarkable, transformational, one-of-a-kind tools and resources. Yay!
Please visit http://www.LIGMO.com for more details. We are starting a positive social movement and our work is amazing but the website does not currently reflect the magnitude of the work we are doing. As the founder, I want it to! I really appreciate your help!
I attached the front of our pledge card for you to review.
Typically I had been using the word LIGMO! really big and the tagline "Let It Go. Move On!" stretched perfectly underneath it.
Since its primarily a word logo, and to match up with our black and white stick figure, We were digging black and white and blue - because that's the color of the book cover.
Totally open to new ideas but we would like to stick to that color scheme.
