Tourism and Agriculture.
Wooleen Station is located in outback Western Australia and runs an eco nature based "station stay'. As well as offering traditional outback hospitality in the grand National Trust listed homestead we are also taking on an innovative grazing approach.
Wooleen is focused on producing sustainable pastured beef with no added chemicals making it organic. We are also dedicated to running cattle without impacting on the ecosystem and upsetting the natural ecology of our station.
We are also trying to lead the way to encourage other beef operators to respect the country that they graze animals on.
We try our hardest to educate the guests who stay with us about the issues that pastoralists are faced with when trying to produce an organic product and looking after the countryside.
Wooleen’s nature-based station stay offers a multitude of experiences, from colonial and Aboriginal heritage tourism to nature based tours.
Our target audience include environmentalists, bird-watchers, nature lovers, flora and fauna lovers. People with an interest in Agriculture as well as the early pastoral pioneers. Those we are concerned about where their food comes from and how it is grown. Our tourism business mainly targets higher end customers.
