I have included a quick roughout I produced that lacks the sub-title, which would work best in typical 'flowing banner' style like found in the East India Co. Name and Hudson Bay Company logo.
The "Akiniwazi" name should be done in a placard style at the base with some typical flourishes found in 1500 era
The thunderbird should be subdued because it is a background theme of the setting, while the cross/smokestack should be most dominant.
Please avoid horses as none exist in the setting. Oxen, Llamas, Caribou (Reindeer), Elk are appropriate.
The Font I used was called "Pythia", but a viking runic or germanic woodcut style is appropriate as well, or a medieval/Pirate era script.
Please no clip art, or re-purposed artwork. Original illustration only.
If you want to get more of the flavor, please go here for a longer description, and sample chapter. https://resonantpoint.wordpress.com…akiniwazi/
From the early Akiniwazi logo I would like to keep the paddlewheel, smokestack, and whistle if possible, but use a cross instead of a sword.
Other machinery to use could be steam locomotive wheels, rocker arms
For weapons, two or three crossed axes (one viking broad ax, one ceremonial tomahawk, or a timber ax could be used.) could be used.
If animals are used, consider thunderbirds, caribou, Old English or Neopolitan Mastiff dog breeds. (not hounds or pit bulls or labradors).
Fonts: Distressed classical or fantasy based for the name that would be appropriate for the time period. Clean condensed Sans Serif, or good copperplate style for the phrase is preferred, unless you find a good inspiration. Should be legible when reduced.
