Please no microphone-based/speaker/audio equipment based logos.
We've attached a few sketches we've messed with, but we aren't married to them. Hopefully it gives you an idea of the basic aesthetic (retro modern, geometric). Some brands we are fans of (The Verge, The Outline, Udacity, Pandora, 500px, Polygon). We love logos that make creative use of negative space.
As you can see from our "sketches" we have been tossing around the idea of working the S into the logo directly. We also like the idea of representing "a shift" in some way. Whether that be via color, shape, offset, etc.
This mark will be used on our site, album covers where it will need to stand out (but not overpower) the album art, t-shirts, and business cards. The chosen piece will work well in black and white, as well as color. Bonus points if we it works well with color changes so that it fits with the theme of each individual podcast's art.
