The additional images I uploaded are similar to the style of the site, but the logo should to be flexible enough that it can incorporate other styles later on, especially different color schemes.
Not sure if it will be helpful, but the logo should contribute to a mysterious but pure quality that the rest of the site will have. I imagine some combination of black, white, gray, and other colors may be used.
Graphics should be either abstract or maybe try a crown, a fleur-de-lis, a star, something else medieval. Preference toward fleur-de-lis with a similar style as the images below.
In addition, leveling up as medieval characters (squire, minstrel, merchant) will be part of the site - the theme of the site will be modern chivalry, combining aspects of both modern design and medieval principles like honor and discipline. I am not sure if it's doable, but a great logo will help to convey this.
See if you can make the font modern-looking with a fair bit of elegance as well. I did say simple, but don't hesitate to play with some other fonts. Some interesting fonts I found that exhibit some of the qualities I like:

From here: http://www.designbolts.com/2012/07/…-download/
Almost anything on this page, but especially Modeka and Existence Light:
So I like uppercase, thin, modern, and elegant. Something with serifs would also probably contribute to the elegant category.
Also play with the colors on the font - some sort of combo of gray and black would likely be best, but you might consider introducing some color into the font as well.
Don't hesitate to play with different colors either - I like gold, dark red, light purple as well with gray.
