We are about to start a local marketing consultancy agency here in Belgium. We're going to work mostly with small / medium B2B and B2C businesses. Our core product/service is to help these businesses to sell more of their services / products by better positioning. In other words we help them with standing out in the crowded space.
When we present our core product / service to prospects, we use a metaphor of the Trojan Horse. This metaphor helps us explain the issues businesses face nowadays when trying to reach potential clients. There is too much noise. People see too many messages (~4000 /day). In these circumstances it's almost impossible to get people's attention. The walls around people have become too thick and big. Like the walls of the ancient city of Troy.
Our tool helps businesses to go though these walls without breaking them, like the Trojan Horse that the Greeks used to capture the city of Troy.
This is in a nutshell what our business is all about.
Now a few words about how we want to be seen by our prospects (and how the logo should help us achieve this).
We want to be seen by our potential clients as The Bentley / Rolls Royce / Rolex of consulting (basically something expensive and luxurious) when we approach them. The logo and slogan here play a major role.
