"At the Gig" is a event/location based mobile app where fans can purchase their favorite merchandise from bands and sports teams at a show. They can pick their items up after the show, have it delivered to their seats, or even shipped to them at home.
Open the app on your phone, select the show/event you're at (based on your GPS location) and purchase items the band or team have available for sale.

Our product and brand is mobile-phone-focused. Our initial logo idea should look good as the "icon" on the phones home screen that the person clicks to launch the app on their phone.
Our initial idea (we're open to yours as well) is an amplifier "knob" with the letter "G" in it. We think this will work on the phone's home screen as the App icon.
We like a vintage music look. Font ideas based on this are "Gibson" and also "Marshall".
We will most likely have additional branding/website design work after we've selected our logo and brand identity direction.
As an example: the app "Bandsintown" shares the same user base and music oriented identity that we feel will resonate well with our target audience.
