We combine two waste streams to create agricultural fertilizer on a very large scale. First we compost various materials (grocery waste, wood chips, drywall, yard waste, manure, human waste). Much of this material would end up in landfills creating methane gas if not reclaimed. We then combine it with waste elemental sulphur (a byproduct of the oil and gas industry) to create a low cost, long lasting environmentally friendly macronutrient for application in agricultural production across Western Canada. Due to the various particle sizes in our product, we can apply a large amount which will slow release for 3 to 7 years depending on agronomic conditions. This eliminates the manufactured, high salt, corrosive, bulky sulphur fertilizers producers typically used. Costs are lowered, logistics are improved, and we are helping to remove thousands of tonnes of perfectly good foods that are thrown out of grocery stores from one city- Calgary, AB every year, and find a use for it. To date the product has been called "Bio-Sul Premium Plus". We are looking to rebrand the product. We believe the name "Sentinel" reflects the quality, consistency, slow release of the product. Our fertilizer has the unique ability to "stand on guard", and slow release when growing conditions warrant it. We want a new look, feel, and marketing angle for our unique fertilizer, and we want you to help us do it!
